Fragile parcels make up roughly 12% of our daily volume, and the vast majority arrive intact. The few that don't usually share one trait: under-packaging. Here is what our couriers and sorters recommend.
1. Double-box electronics with at least 5 cm of cushioning between boxes. 2. Wrap glass items individually — never let two glass surfaces touch. 3. Fill all empty space; movement inside the box is the main cause of damage. 4. Mark the parcel as 'Fragile' during booking so it is routed through hand-carry sorting. 5. Photograph the contents before sealing for faster claims processing.
