Gobweyn Logistics ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it — in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial law.

• Booking data: sender and recipient names, phone numbers, email addresses, pickup and delivery addresses, and parcel details — required to perform the delivery service.
• Account data: login credentials, saved addresses, order history, and billing records for registered customers.
• Tracking data: shipment milestone events, timestamps, and delivery confirmation records.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and usage analytics collected when you visit our website.

2. How we use your data

• To collect, transport, and deliver your shipments
• To send booking confirmations and delivery status notifications by SMS and email
• To process payments and issue receipts and invoices
• To respond to enquiries and resolve support requests
• To improve our services and website performance

We process your data on the legal bases of contract performance, legitimate interest, and — for marketing communications — your explicit consent.

3. Data sharing

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with: our delivery couriers (limited to what is needed to complete a delivery), payment processors (Interac, card acquirers), SMS and email providers, and authorities where required by law.

4. Data security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS 1.2+) and customer personal data is encrypted at rest. Access to customer records is role-restricted and logged.

5. Data retention

Shipment and billing records are retained for 7 years to meet accounting obligations. Account data is retained until you delete your account. Tracking notification opt-ins are kept until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@gobweynlogistics.com. We respond to all requests within 30 days.

We use strictly necessary cookies for session management and optional analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting core functionality.
