Every Gobweyn parcel carries an AWB (air waybill) number that is scanned at five checkpoints: booking, pickup, sorting, out-for-delivery, and final handover. Each scan generates a tracking event with a timestamp, location, and handler.
Those events stream into our dispatch system and are exposed through the same tracking API that powers the public tracking page. Results are cached for 90 seconds, so the page stays fast even during peak hours.
When your parcel goes out for delivery, the system calculates an estimated delivery window from the courier's route and live traffic conditions, and pushes an SMS notification if you've opted in.
